If you heat with fuel oil and experienced flooding in your basement causing your fuel tank to shift or float, make sure your system is off and call your energy provider as soon as possible.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPERATE YOUR EQUIPMENT UNTIL IT HAS BEEN REPLACED OR REPAIRED!

If you use propane, please follow these guidelines:

*If you smell propane gas, leave the area immediately and contact your propane company or fire department to notify them.

*Do not open your propane tank service valve.  A propane leak test is required before the gas system can be placed back into service.

*If your propane tank has moved, shifted or floated, do not attempt to move it back, this is a job for professionals.

*Notify your propane company if flooding occurred in your area and you were ordered to evacuate and do not know what happened to your propane tank.
