Binghamton, NY – April 23, 2024 – Mirabito Convenience Stores is proud to announce the success of its recent round-up campaign for the Honor Flight Network which resulted in a remarkable $78,000 raised during the month of March. This fundraising effort, one of the highest-earning round-up campaigns sponsored by Mirabito, directly benefits veterans by helping fund trips to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials dedicated to their service.
Through Mirabito’s round-up initiative, customers were given the opportunity to contribute to the cause by rounding up their convenience store purchases during the month of March. Additionally, Mirabito made its own donations to support the campaign. The overwhelming support from customers and the community alike resulted in a significant sum that will make a meaningful impact on the lives of local veterans.
With this fundraising effort, Mirabito Convenience Stores has once again demonstrated its commitment to giving back to the communities it serves. By partnering with Honor Flight Syracuse and Twin Tiers Honor Flight, Mirabito is able to directly support local veterans and honor their sacrifices by providing them with the opportunity to visit the memorials dedicated to their service in the nation’s capital.

The funds raised were shared equally between the Honor Flight hubs located in Syracuse and Binghamton. Checks were presented to the board members of each hub at a Mirabito Convenience Store that raised the most funds per purchase near that respective hub.
Mirabito Convenience Stores conducts round-up campaigns several times a year, with each campaign benefiting a deserving community not-for-profit organization.
