Mirabito Energy Products will assist in the recovery of the New York City, Newark and Jersey City areas, recently affected by Hurricane Sandy.
The company is transporting loads of diesel and gasoline downstate and to New Jersey in an effort to provide energy relief to the area. Supply will be taken to first responders such as fire departments as well as other haulers needing fuel for their vehicles to transport food and other necessary supplies.
Jason Mirabito, Manager of Supply, announced today the company has made available additional assets to service the affected areas. If you are in need of emergency fueling, contact Jason at 607-352-2930
Energy supply has been severely affected because the storm has forced shut downs of much of the energy supply infrastructure in the NYC and NJ area, including the Buckeye Pipeline and barges coming from the NY Harbor.
Additionally, Mirabito is currently restocking its own convenience store and storage facilities throughout Central New York. This will hopefully result is less stress on local gasoline and diesel fuel supplies and will assist in keeping the region “in fuel.”
Mirabito Convenience Stores are part of the Mirabito Family of Companies which also includes Mirabito Energy Products, Old Road Truck Repair and the Rewards Plus customer loyalty program. Mirabito’s corporate offices are located in The MetroCenter, Binghamton.
