Recently a mother stopped at a Mirabito Convenience Store in Harpursville, New York to purchase some gas. While she was fueling her car, the vehicle locked with not only her keys inside but her one-year-old daughter.
The mother came into the store, frantic and panicking that her child was in the car. Living only a mile up the road, Jim Sova, an employee at the store, offered to drive the woman to her home to retrieve a spare set of keys.
While the two drove to the woman’s home, another employee, Penny Potter, stood by the vehicle to watch the child. Thanks to the kindness of Sova and Potter the mother was able to get back into her car safely and quickly.
We can’t thank our employees enough for their thoughtfulness and willingness to help the community. We’re proud to have exceptional people like Sova and Potter as Mirabito employees!
