Fire destroys the bulk oil plant on Cartwright Avenue in Sidney. Mirabito’s lost not only the storage facility, which was completely destroyed, but also a transport truck and four tank wagons. Ultimately, though, the fact that no lives were lost was cause for somber thankfulness.
