Frequently Asked Questions About Mirabito’s Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) & Autopay Programs

What is the EFT Budget Payment Program?

It’s a payment option for customers with checking accounts who want to make payments automatically. When you choose this payment option you authorize Mirabito to electronically transfer your payment from your checking account to your Mirabito Budget Account.

When is the first Budget EFT/ACH deduction from my checking account?

The first deduction will be September 10.

What happens at the end of the budget season?

Your EFT/ACH payment is processed for 11 months. It starts September 10 and runs until July 10. If any balance remains on your Mirabito account after June 10, an EFT payment will be drafted for the full amount on July 10. If you need to make different payment arrangements, you must contact our office by June 20 at 800-934-9480.

What if I wish to cancel or make changes to my EFT/ACH Budget Payment option during the budget season?

Contact any Mirabito Customer Service Representative and they will assist you. Any changes or cancellations can be made by submitting a new DocuSign form. Choose the payment option form that fits your needs in the list above. Please submit before the 20th of the month to ensure the necessary changes and cancellations are made prior to the 10th of the following month.

Why am I providing an email address?

The Mirabito Electronic Funds Transfer Program automatically sends a notification of pending transfer of monies via email to all EFT/ACH payment program customers.

How do I enroll in the program ? / How do I renew my existing EFT for the new budget season?

Mirabito will make the first deduction from your checking account on September 10, provided all paperwork is received by September 2.
PLEASE NOTE: Mirabito WILL DEDUCT the first payment from your checking account on September 10.

How Does The EFT Budget Program Work?

You will still receive a monthly budget statement but you will no longer need to send a check to us. Your budget amount will be electronically transferred from your checking account on the 10th of each month. If the 10th should fall on a Saturday, Sunday or Holiday it will be processed on the next business day.

If I had a delivery from Mirabito Energy Products, when do my Rewards show up on my Rewards Plus account?

Rewards for deliveries will show up in your Rewards account within one business day of the delivery.

If I prepay for my fuel from Mirabito Energy Products, how come the Rewards do not show up right away?

When you have your Mirabito Home Heat account linked to your Rewards Plus card, you are able to earn Rewards. We do not give Rewards when the purchase is made, Rewards are given as deliveries are made. If you pre-purchased 600 gallons of fuel oil at once, your Rewards would be added in according to when the actual deliveries are made.

Why should I upgrade from my black Rewards Plus card?

The old black Rewards Plus card lacks new features that are now available with the green Rewards Plus card and both Rewards Plus & Payment cards.  Upgrading will allow you to use the green or red card at the pump to earn cents off on purchases. Customers will also receive first time use discounts. To upgrade, call 1-866-647-2248 or visit the nearest Mirabito Convenience Store location.

When do my points expire?

Cents off redeemed with Mirabito Convenience Stores will expire in 90 days. Cents off redeemed with Mirabito Energy Products will expire in 120 days. This policy can be found in the Terms and Conditions of the Rewards Plus program.

What should I do if I lost my card but don’t want to lose my cents off?

In the event you lose your card, you will need to get a new card by any of the following: visit your nearest Mirabito Convenience Store, fill out the online form or call 1-866-647-2248. With the new card present, call 1-866-647-2248 and tell them you would like to add another card to your account. If your previous card is registered, we can add your new card to the old one, and any Rewards you had will remain.

How do I access my account online?

To access your online Mirabito Rewards Plus account, you must first be a member of Mirabito Rewards Plus.  Click on “My Account” at the top right of this page. On the My Account page, click on “Sign Up” in the top right corner to create an account or login if you’ve already created an account. You can also call the Rewards Plus Toll-Free number at 1-866-647-2248 if you need assistance or have forgotten your username/password.
