[Binghamton, NY – August 1, 2024] Mirabito is thrilled to announce the successful completion of our recent Mirabito Cares Round Up campaign at Mirabito Convenience Stores, raising $65,000 to support the UHS Foundation’s Journey Campaign for the Wilson Main Tower in the month of June 2024. This fundraising effort was a collaborative initiative between Mirabito and the communities we proudly serve. The success of the campaign will provide enhanced healthcare services to our immediate community and neighboring areas, ensuring more individuals have access to high-quality, affordable healthcare.

The UHS Wilson Main Tower is set to revolutionize local healthcare with state-of-the-art facilities and expanded care options. Serving as the new front door to the UHS Wilson Medical Center, the Wilson Main Tower began welcoming patients and visitors on June 26. The opening transforms the UHS Wilson Medical Center campus into a state-of-the-art healthcare facility, featuring a new Emergency & Trauma Center, helipad, inpatient MRI suite and 120 single-occupancy rooms with private bathrooms at UHS Wilson Medical Center. These improvements are designed to provide patients with the highest standard of care, reduce wait times, and offer more comprehensive treatment options.

The Round Up campaign invited customers to round up their purchases to the nearest dollar, with the difference going directly to support the UHS Wilson Main Tower. The overwhelming participation and contributions from our customers, in collaboration with Mirabito, made this achievement possible.
A check presentation was held at the Mirabito Convenience Store in Greene, NY, where members of the UHS team and Mirabito team members shared a photo to commemorate the Round-Up. Marketing Director, Marissa Sweeney, also attended the UHS Board of Directors meeting in July to celebrate the success of the campaign.
Mirabito remains dedicated to supporting initiatives that foster community well-being and development through Mirabito Cares initiatives, such as our Round Up campaigns launched 3 to 4 times per year.
