$55,000 Raised for Tunnels To Towers

Mirabito Cares Raises $55,000 for Tunnel to Towers Foundation Through September Round Up Campaign

Binghamton, NY – November 4, 2026 – Mirabito Convenience Stores and its customers have once again demonstrated the power of community, raising $55,000 for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation through the Mirabito Cares Round Up Campaign held throughout September in honor of the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001.

Throughout the month of September, customers at all Mirabito Convenience Store locations across New York, Pennsylvania, and Vermont were invited to round up their purchases at checkout to support the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.  The campaign brought together employees, customers, and communities in support of an organization dedicated to honoring America’s heroes and their families.

Through the generosity of thousands of customers, along with a corporate contribution from Mirabito Cares, the campaign raised a total of $55,000.  This initiative reflects Mirabito’s continued commitment to giving back and supporting organizations that make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

“We are incredibly grateful to our customers who, time and again, stand alongside us in supporting meaningful organizations like the Tunnel to Towers Foundation,” said Marissa Sweeney, Senior Marketing Director of Mirabito Holdings, Inc. “Together with Mirabito’s contribution, 100% of our customers’ donations will go directly toward supporting first responders, military service members, and their families. This cause holds special significance as we commemorate the 25th anniversary of September 11 and our nation’s 250th anniversary. The sacrifices made by these brave men and women protect the freedoms that allow our communities and businesses like Mirabito to grow and thrive. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our customers and employees for their generosity, and above all, to our first responders and military service members for their unwavering service and sacrifice.”

The funds will support the Tunnel to Towers Foundation’s mission to honor the sacrifice of America’s first responders, military members, and their families. Founded in memory of FDNY firefighter Stephen Siller, who gave his life while responding to the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, the organization continues to honor America’s heroes through programs that support fallen first responder and military families, injured veterans, and Gold Star families.

Through initiatives like the Round Up Campaign, Mirabito Cares continues to uphold the company’s core values of integrity, reliability, safety, and community service. By bringing together customers, employees, and corporate support, Mirabito remains committed to making a meaningful difference in the communities it serves and honoring the individuals and families who have made extraordinary sacrifices for our country.
