Binghamton, NY – Mirabito Convenience Stores and their Mirabito Cares community service initiative is thrilled to announce that its October Round Up campaign in support of the American Cancer Society raised an impressive $90,000 to support breast cancer research and treatment programs. This total includes the incredible generosity of Mirabito Convenience Store customers, who rounded up their purchases throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month, as well as a significant contribution from Mirabito itself.

The funds raised will directly benefit the American Cancer Society’s efforts to advance life-saving research, provide vital resources for patients, and promote early detection and prevention.

“We are thrilled by the incredible generosity of our customers and the unwavering support of our team members, which has helped us achieve a record-breaking Round Up campaign,” said Marissa Sweeney, Director of Marketing at Mirabito Energy Products. “Raising $90,000 highlights the amazing impact our community can have when we come together for a cause that touches so many lives. Thank you to everyone who made this milestone possible.”

During October, Mirabito employees donned pink shirts to raise awareness and show solidarity with those affected by breast cancer. Our Mirabito Cares community service team members also attended various Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks throughout the month. Finally, our customers stepped up in a big way as their small contributions at checkout added up to something truly remarkable in support of this worthy cause.

Making a Difference Together
The funds raised are part of Mirabito Cares’ ongoing mission to support community-focused initiatives. In partnering with the American Cancer Society, Mirabito is proud to contribute to a brighter future for those impacted by breast cancer.

Mirabito’s ‘Cups for a Cause’ Initiative

Binghamton, NY – September 11, 2024 – Mirabito Convenience Stores is proud to announce the launch of its “Cups for a Cause” initiative, a program designed to support local charities and community organizations by donating unused paper cups. As part of our ongoing commitment to giving back, we’re offering essential support to charities and organizations hosting events and programs in our local communities.

With the rising cost of goods affecting many nonprofit organizations, Mirabito recognizes the importance of supporting the community in tangible ways. Through this initiative, we are donating our unused Mirabito Convenience Store paper cups to help alleviate the cost burden on charities and community groups that rely on such essentials for their events and outreach efforts.

As we prepare to introduce an exciting, newly rebranded Mirabito Convenience Store to-go beverage cup this fall, we’re ensuring our current supply of unused cups doesn’t go to waste. In line with our commitment to sustainability, we’re taking this opportunity to donate and recycle responsibly by extending a helping hand to local organizations in need. We encourage all interested community groups to request a paper cup donation from Mirabito Convenience Stores by emailing cares@mirabito.com with information about their event, organization, or cause, along with the number of cups they require.

Be on the lookout this fall for Mirabito’s fresh, new branded cup design at our convenience stores! Until then, we’re proud to make sure that no cup goes unused—especially when it can help strengthen the community we serve.
