[Binghamton, NY – April 15, 2026] Mirabito Energy Products and Convenience Stores, in partnership with GHS Federal Credit Union, invites the community to a free, drive-through Shred Event on Saturday, April 18 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at GHS Federal Credit Union, located at 910 Front Street, Binghamton, NY 13905.
This convenient, drive-through event allows individuals to safely dispose of personal and sensitive documents without leaving their vehicles, while also supporting an important cause through voluntary donations. Secure on-site shredding services will be provided by Rogers Service Group (https://rogersservicegroup.com/), ensuring materials are handled and destroyed with the highest level of confidentiality.
While the event is free to attend, donations are encouraged to support the American Heart Association Southern Tier Chapter. Contributions will help advance the organization’s mission to improve heart health and save lives through critical resources, advocacy, and education. These efforts aim to ensure that at least one person in every household feels confident and prepared to perform CPR, increase the number of individuals trained in lifesaving techniques, expand research, and ultimately create more lifesaving moments for our community.
“Mirabito is proud to be a strong supporter of the American Heart Association and the vital work they do to save lives,” said Marissa Sweeney, Senior Marketing Director at Mirabito Holdings Inc. “With our corporate offices and many local branches and convenience stores rooted throughout the Southern Tier, we are deeply committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen the health and safety of our communities. As heart-related incidents continue to rise, it is more important than ever to invest in education, preparedness, and research that can make a lifesaving difference.”
Community members are encouraged to gather their documents and take advantage of this safe, secure, and impactful event. Donations of any amount are appreciated but not required to participate.
